These events and activities are arranged on a trimesterly basis: Trimester 1 from New Year's to Easter, Trimester 2 from Easter to Summer and Trimester 3 from Summer to New Year's.

Our special event in this trimester is the IE International Update: Business in India to be held in Mumbai from September 8, 2008 to September 10, 2008.

Cada año, la Asociación de Antiguos Alumnos del IE, para promover el Networking y la formación, organiza eventos y actividades para los antiguos alumnos del IE alrededor del mundo incluyendo conferencias online, foros, aulas abiertas sectoriales, aulas abiertas, jueves de la Asociación, presentaciones de libros y actividades de ocio. Estos están ordenados por trimestres: primer trimestre de Año Nuevo a Semana Santa, segundo trimestre desde Semana Santa a verano y el tercer trimestre desde verano a Año Nuevo.

This new format for monthly lunches is absolutely professional. It consists of individual presentations, a detailed presentation made by a Club member about his/her company, and finally networking among those who can be customers or prescribers for other members.

Another initiative which has been well received has been the creation of the first group for an IE Alumni Club in LinkedIn, called the Bilbao IE Alumni Group, which is coordinated by IE Alumni Association and Club put into operation last June.

The Club representatives thank all their colleagues as well as IE Alumni Association for their support and participation in the preparation and launch of these new initiatives.

El pasado 18 de julio tuvo lugar el primer 3rd Friday Business Lunch, la nueva propuesta pionera e innovadora lanzada por el Club Bilbao, con el objetivo de fomentar entre sus miembros no solo el know-how, sino también el know-who.

Este nuevo formato para las comidas mensuales es absolutamente profesional. Consta de presentaciones individuales, una presentación detallada hecha por un AA sobre su empresa, y encuentros finales entre aquellos quienes pueden ser clientes finales o prescriptores para  otros compañeros.

Excelente acogida ha tenido también la creación en LinkedIn del primer grupo para un IE Club, el Bilbao IE Alumni Group, que coordinadamente la AAA y el Club pusieron en funcionamiento el pasado mes de junio.

Los representantes del Club agradecemos a todos los compañeros así como a la AAA su participación y respaldo en la gestación y lanzamiento de estas nuevas iniciativas.

IDEAS is the quarterly magazine of IE Alumni Association, distributed to all IE alumni all over the world. It is a bilingual magazine with all articles in both English and Spanish in order to serve our diverse alumni community. In IDEAS you can find articles on current business topics and legal / fiscal issues. In addition, it serves as a vehicle for delivering information about what is happening at IE, at the IE Alumni Association as well as news about our alumni.

On 3 July 2008, the third Alumni Bar of the Month was held at Serrano 41 in Madrid, which gave us first drinks free with the IE identity card.

This time, the BOTM united the alumni with the current students who are soon to graduate, giving both a great platform to interact.

We hope to see you in our future Alumni BOTMs in Madrid. It is a great opportunity for you to meet other IE alumni and grow your network.

El pasado 3 de julio 2008, tuvo lugar la tercera Alumni Bar of the Month en Serrano 41 de Madrid, ofreciendo la primer bebida gratis presentando la tarjeta del IE.

Esta vez, el BOTM junto antiguos alumnos con alumnos actuales a punto de graduarse, facilitando una plataforma para relacionarse.
