New IE University undergrad alumni Last Friday 13th we celebrated the Welcome Reception for new alumni of IE University undergraduate programs. Alumni from last year were invited to welcome their new fellow alumni to the IE Alumni Community in a beautiful cocktail party in the Residence Courtyard in Segovia. Two IE University graduates where chosen by their classmates to talk in two of the most moving speeches we’ve seen at IE. Thanks to all of you that came to share this special occasion with all of us. IE-Brown Alumni Reunion: We had the privilege of receiving at IE a group of IE-Brown alumni in an Alumni Reunion that included both academic and networking activities, such as team building dynamics with Lego bricks by Macrina Busato, and a Creative Lab tour at Museo del Prado visiting its masterpieces with Professor Ian Gonsher from Brown University, followed by a barbecue at Serrano 99. Special invitation to the Alumni Club Reps: Last week, a group of alumni that continuously collaborate with IE as Alumni Club Reps in various countries in Europe joined the group of International MBA students visiting the Ferrari Headquarters in Maranello, Italy. Using their own words It was an absolutely great experience!, An incredible opportunity and an amazing event. Alumni where happy to interact with current students both during the visit and the dinner organized the evening before the visit by the presidents of the IE Alumni Italy Club at the Milan Chapter. Journeys in Africa On June 23rd, writer and journalist Javier Reverte visited IE to talk about his Journeys in Africa, a special event by the IE Alumni Association and Nuba. The conference related to his numerous trips to the continent and especially to singular destinations such as Ethiopia and Tanzania, which he described as two of dazzling beauty.
